lieing and cheating
I won't lie and cheat. Ok, maybe white lies to get out of something I don't want to do...but generally, I don't.
Jason thinks I would have gotten the customer service job if I had out right lied on my resume. Like saying I worked for his mom telemarketing. (One of the reasons I didn't get the job was that I don't have any phone experience, the other main one being not a lot of Excel experience)
I won't do it. I stretched the truth on one job, making it into 2 jobs (reception for an architect firm, and the actual job, working at the cafe that fronted the firm), and said when I worked for my dad for a week, that it was school co-op.
But I will not fabricate.
Jason keeps going on and on about how people who lie and cheat get a head in life. I personally believe in karma. What goes around comes around. Maybe you have millions of dollars...but are you really HAPPY??? (oh, and I believe, though I may not be HAPPY!, I'm far from miserable, and at least i didn't go against my morals to get here ha ha)
I am appalled that people think it's ok to lie like this, or about anything really. (Like I said...I ain't perfect and I Do lie...)

I agree too. People do stretch the truth, or spin things, but unless you can back it up when you get in the job, it will bite you in the ass.
