why?
why isit that for some people, everyone will drop everything, book the day off work, etc. to be present at a birthday party, but for others you get 4 out of the 20 you invite? i understand previous comitments. but when you swear up and down and sidways that you are comming then say. meh...forget you...i'm working. and not even call. i don't know why i even bother getting upset anymore. i don't even know why i bother trying to have fun on my birthday anymore.
i am constantly disapointed by "friends" who say they are coming, and then never show up.
the people i actually want at my birthday party arn't coming. and now i'm stuck with people who i like...but can take in small doses and with a crowd are diluted somewhat.
do those people really care? those people who can't come? i think they do. i hope they do.
are people going to show up to my wedding?

well... i'm sorry we can't come... at least we never promised to come though... that sounds kinda bad, but if it makes you feel any better, we can't go to Celestes birthday either (which she is also having on saturday)... it's erika's parents last weekend in their house and they need help packing like mad! I don't really know what your plans are on sunday, but if you have time we could maybe meet somewhere like Yorkdale and hang out for a bit?
just a thought. I dunno. let me know your thoughts on this...
and we'll be at the wedding. it'll be #2 of 3 for us so far next year, so we might be poor (especially since #1 is in Germany), but at least we'll be there. . .
yes! i can meet you at yorkdale! yay!
and i guess a wedding is different than a birthday...
